ENCOUNTERED

Following our delightful Sunday dinner, we came together around the bonfire. Staying true to my style, I introduced a topic for discussion: “Share your first intimate experience with God!”

It appears that God interacts with individuals based on their levels of obedience, submission, faith, and the condition of their hearts. For example, I found it incredibly challenging to submit to Christ, while others seemed more curious about Him, more willing to align with His will, and had greater faith. I've also observed that our revelations differ—neither better nor worse, just distinct. I've always had a passionate, all-or-nothing personality. Yet, when it came to my relationship with God, I was rather lukewarm. My introduction to an intimate experience with God was grandiose . I required a strong impression. I believe my rebellion mirrored my calling and foreshadowed my future confrontations with the enemy. I needed not only to be brought into submission but also to have undeniable proof of His presence. God is personal, and I cherish that! I am in a relationship with Him. While He loves all His children, having experiences tailored specifically for me makes it even more special.
